Working principle
Roots vacuum pump: Roots vacuum pump is a dry vacuum pump, through two three-blade impeller in the pump chamber relative rotation, the use of impeller and impeller, impeller and the gap between the pump chamber, the gas is inhaled from the air inlet, and then compressed and discharged. It usually needs to be used in conjunction with the front pump (such as the oil seal mechanical pump) to achieve a higher vacuum degree.
Roots blower: Roots blower is a positive displacement blower, through two three-blade impeller in the enclosure and wall panel sealed space relative rotation, so that the air inlet formed a vacuum state, air under the action of atmospheric pressure into the air inlet chamber, and then driven by the impeller rotation, constantly from the air inlet to the air outlet.
Performance characteristics
Suction and vacuum: Roots vacuum pump usually has a high suction and vacuum, suitable for the need for high vacuum occasions. Roots blower is mainly used for gas transmission and pressurization, and its pressure and flow regulation range is wide.
Pressure and flow regulation: the air volume of Roots blower is proportional to the speed, and the air volume can be controlled by adjusting the speed of the inverter. The pressure regulation of Roots vacuum pump usually needs to be achieved by changing the operating parameters of the pump or using auxiliary equipment.
Scope of application
Roots vacuum pumps: Widely used in areas requiring high vacuum, such as semiconductor manufacturing, chemical engineering, medical equipment, laboratory equipment, etc. In semiconductor manufacturing, for example, Roots vacuum pumps are used to create high vacuum environments to ensure precision and quality in the chip manufacturing process.
Roots blower: mainly used for conveying gas and gas pressurization, suitable for low pressure occasions gas conveying and pressurization. For example, in wastewater treatment, Roots blowers are used for aeration, providing oxygen to facilitate the wastewater treatment process.
Construction and installation
Structural differences: The structure of Roots vacuum pump and Roots blower is similar, but Roots vacuum pump has higher requirements in terms of sealing and corrosion resistance, and usually needs to be used in conjunction with the previous pump. The structure of Roots blower is relatively simple, mainly composed of shell, wall panel, impeller, fuel tank, muffler and other parts.
Installation requirements: Roots vacuum pump needs to consider the tightness and coordination with the previous pump when installing to ensure that the required vacuum degree is achieved. The installation of Roots blower is relatively simple, but attention needs to be paid to the connection of the import and export and the fixing of the equipment.
